First in Gujarat a Live 3 D Laparoscopic surgery demonstration from Isha Hospital to PVR theatre, Vadodara on 24th July 2016
Isha Hospital is the only hospital in Gujarat to have the first ever Advanced 3D SPICE laparoscopic surgery Optics system installed from the leaders in this field, Karl Storz, Germany.
Experienced surgeons here are performing 3 D surgeries since last 4 years.
First ever in Gujarat Isha hospital performed 3 D live surgery demonstration relay from its most modern operation theatres to PVR cinema through wireless system.
This demonstration was witnessed by more than 250 doctors across Gujarat. Everyone was eager to watch because this was their first ever experience.
Dr Shailesh P, Dr Sanjay Patel, Dr Divyesh Shukla & Dr Sanjay Patolia were the surgeons who demonstrated surgeries operating from Isha Hospital operation theatres.
Two operation theatres with 3 D system simultaneously performed surgeries for the demonstration.
For the 1st time in India Isha hospital and the technical broadcasting team geared to establish wireless
3 D broadcast system which was very successful.
All over India others are yet not familiar with this method.
In fact Isha hospital had been using wireless technology to broadcast such live surgical events since long.
Soon Isha hospital proposes to have web cast on prescribed timings which will provide important scientific information to professional colleagues.
