Endo-Gynec Workshop – SOGOG 2019
Endo-Gynec Workshop, held on 27th September 2019, organized at Isha Hospital, as a part of 43rd Annual Conference of State Organization of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists of Gujarat ( SOGOG -2019 ) , under the chairmanship of Dr. Divyesh Shukla .
The event was a great success, where about 105 delegates attended the technical surgical skills being demonstrated. The delegates were enriched with various gynecological laparoscopic surgical techniques.
The delegates appreciated the high-tech audio-visuals, where for the first time, a 4K technology was introduced. The Live surgeries performed in four (4) Operation Theatres (OT), were live-casted to the auditorium full of delegates. The interaction of the delegates and the faculties made it more interesting with their Wit and skill of the craft.
There were 22 surgeries performed by different invited faculties.
Another first of its kind, a “Laparoscopic Suturing Skill” contest was organized, where the delegates were adjudged for their suturing skills, performed on the Pelvic Endo Trainer and were judged by 3 experts, with GOALS and OSATS assessment tools.
We thank all the people involved in the success of this prestigious event. Special thanks to Dr. Amit Shah , who coordinated all 4 OTs, led the team of Anesthesiologists, well orchestrated and synchronized the event , working on every minute details at micro level.
